[ He withdraws the scimitars and puts them back in the scabbards with a smile, and then leans to that wide chest. Fjord smells of leather and sweat, an a little bit of cold and faintly arcane. It's quite lovely. ]

Mm, but then how am I going to be able to have my way with you if you blow un-fun holes in me?

[ Molly nips Fjord's lower lip slightly, the forks in his tongue tickling as he does. ]

Now, about that sword-swallowing...

All your holes are fun holes ... even the new ones.

[ Stupidly giddy as he runs his hands over Molly to draw him in against his armour, he tries to catch that forked tongue between his teeth —

Gross! I told you they weren't sparring!

Veth gets a glare for her rude interruption, the embrace around Molly defiantly tightening. ]

Something you need?

[ We're leaving, put your junk back in and hurry up! ]

[ He breaks into laughter at that, and it only gets louder as veth comes and bothers them in the middle of making out. Molly smooches Fjord's cheek and then heads towards the former goblin to threaten to walk in on her and Yeza next time, happily reminding her she's not so quiet either.

They're bickering all the ways back to the others, Molly smiling all the way and giving Fjord a look now and then. Once they're inside, he throws himself in Yasha's lap. ]

So what are we doing again? Something about talking to the magic man in the tower and seeing Jessie's mom?

[ Fjord dips into the kitchen to snag the breakfast leftovers, munching on rolled-up pancakes when he leans in the lounge doorway to catch the tail-end of Molly's question. ]

We're going to the coast?

[ He's down for that, entirely. It would be nice to see the actual sun for once.

I have some theories I want to discuss with Yussa, says Caleb, interrupted by Jester's perky, And it's been too long since I saw Mama, so we can make it a vacation!

It is not a vacation, Jes-

A vacation!!

Fjord finds his gaze drawn to Molly, it being the first time the tiefling has journeyed to the Menagerie. Somehow that makes it all the more exciting, even if Fjord knows there's more to see and do there than hang out together like a couple. Which, they ... aren't? Sort of. He isn't sure and decides to think positively about the trip instead, determined not to be overbearing or weird. Jester has already cottoned on to the same mode of thought and excitedly informs Molly about seeing Marion sing.]

Sounds good to me, when do we leave?

[ Molly's tail is swishing with excitement, immediately looking forward to seeing the Menagerie Coast and Jester's mother since he missed that the first time. Also the ocean, which almost the most exciting part after hearing everything about the Nein's adventures at sea. Maybe they could even see the Balleater in all its glory?

(He loves Jester and her mind so much.)

As the rest of the party decides to leave as soon as everyone has their stuff and are ready, their little blue cleric adds that 'The Chateau's walls are soundproof' with a wiggle of her brows to Fjord. That makes Molly laugh again, but there's a bit of worry running down his spine.

Were they a couple now? Was this an official thing? (Could he handle that?) It's a little terrifying, honestly. He doesn't trust himself to not hurt Fjord.

The tiefling's tail stills a bit before he loudly declares that he's going to go packing, slinking out of his barbarian-shaped chair. ]

[ With a penchant for observing people he notices how Molly recedes from the excitement after Jester makes her jokes, giving him five minutes alone upstairs before excusing himself to do the same and pack. He already has his mind made up on what to say by the time he's at the top of the stairs, an easy decision to make given how things had gone last night (the talks, not the ... rest).

He raps on the bedroom door with a careless friendliness, making a point of not entering when he leans around it. ]

Hey, Molly? Fair warning, I'll be getting up early while we're down on the coast so I'll be taking my normal room at the chateau, I don't want to wake people up every morning. Do you mind?

[ The most casual of outs, because he suspects Molly needs one. ]

[ Molly's still fretting a bit about feelings when Fjord knocks on the door, and seeing the person responsible for all those feelings is both soothing and a little panic-inducing in one. Did he want a relationship? He's never had one and it's both something he'd like to experience and something that he's terrified will fuck the group up as soon as he messes it up somehow.

He doesn't want to hurt Fjord and at the same time he doesn't want to be bound to something or someone.

Then Fjord is there and gives him a good out, yet somehow he feels... disappointed? What the fuck?

Emotions make no fucking sense. ]

Alright. That sounds fine, I only need Beau yelling in the morning once in my life to know its something I won't miss.

[ She's coming after him sooner or later, he knows it. She's already warned him that she'll make sure he doesn't die again. ]

You're showing me the ocean, though.

[ His bland smile warms when Molly demands a tour, back to being hopelessly fond of the irascible tiefling. ]

Alright, but you're coming in with me.

[ Absolutely planning to dunk him. ]

Oh, you bet I am!

[ They're skinnydipping, no ifs (but a lot of butts) about it. Molly wants to see Fjord in his right element and the waves against his skin. See if Caduceus' comment about it smelling weird but nice is true.

(He wants to kiss Fjord on the beach.) ]

I'm glad I still rememeber how to swim.

Swimming in a river or a lake is very different to swimming in the sea, there's a tide like a heartbeat that will pull you out into the deep if you're not careful, [ he gives him a wink, ] so be sure to hold onto me very tightly.

[ Fjord holds their eye-contact for a moment longer before thumping the doorframe and heading to his room. He calls back, ]

You won't need your coat until it gets dark, pack some thin layers for the heat!

That's appropriately terrifying, thank you. I'll make sure to get a handful of green to keep me safe.

[ He winks back and then moves to pack the last things once Fjord heads out. Right, it's warm in the Menagerie Coast, not chilly like Rosohna or the Empire. He could wear some nice slinky things without his dick shriveling up or his nipples threatening to poke someone's eyes out.

(That makes him think, though. There's going to be a lot of interesting, funny and attractive people down there to spend time with. Normally this would excite him, but now it was just... strange.)

About ten or so minutes later, he's got a satchel of things over his shouldewer and his coat on one arm, rinsed off after the sparring and with some new gold eyeliner. It seems like Caleb is just about done with the teleportation thing, so he gets ready to jump. ]

[ It's a combination of hearing Molly throwing clothes around across the hall and the girls next door deciding what to take with them too (loudly; apparently Beau is borrowing a dress, that's going to be interesting later) that makes this feel like an actual vacation instead of a fake one. Caleb will undoubtedly be Getting Shit Done but everyone else is just along for the ride, so Fjord starts to make plans in his head. He can hear Jester babbling about Marion's performance tonight so they will all be sitting in for that, then he supposes Molly will need introducing to her ... It's still early, there's plenty of time for them to show Molly the ocean. Or for Fjord to. Whoever goes.

He keeps all his armour on as they head to the circle downstairs but he has a bunch of clean shirts in a bag along with some of his lotions and grooming paraphernalia. Mostly, he's excited for the sun and the heat, because both of those things make him think Home in a way he can't shake. ]

Alright, are we all here? Let's go!

[ He absolutely hates travelling this way, hates Yussa's dim tower, and the stuffy wizard-y smell of books, but the spell is certainly efficient. ]

[ The teleporting does make his stomach lurch a little, but it is amazing and Molly loves it.

This time it seems like they have broken their streak of failing to tell Yussa they're coming, since Caleb technically already made an appointment with the strange elf. He's an interesting sort, Molly thinks, and would probably ask who makes his robes if it wasn't for how busy the two wizards were almost immediately. Instead he follows Jester's tugs on his arms and steps outside into heat and the scent of the nearby sea.

Grinning, he immediately looks around, charmed by the city. Molly barely listens as the others discuss going to the Chateau to leave their things and say hi to Marion, already gravitating towards a shop to look in the window. ]

'Sea Treasures'? What a quaint name. I bet most places here have a sea-theme.

[ They're going to lose Molly in the first crowd they come across, aren't they? Shit. Their friends know the way to Marion's but the purple menace doesn't so Fjord hangs back and calls over the heads of passers-by. ]

Mollymauk! We can sightsee when we're settled, come on.

[ Waving him away from every sparkly thing in that window. ]

[ He turns at that, smiling before he pulls himself away from the window and makes a mental note to come back there later to explore more.

Fjord had a point, though, and he wanted to put his coat and doublet somewhere safe as he wouldn't be wearing them much in this heat. The sun was shining so nicely, making all his jewelry sparkle and giving him a good mood, forgetting all the worries for a while and just heading back to join the others. ]

I can't wait to see Jester's mother! She must be lovely.

The Ruby's very kind, I imagine she'll love you.

[ It's meant to be an insult but just comes out fondly annoyed; nothing barbed that he says comes out quite the same anymore. Fjord is eager to dump his stuff and get comfortable, starting to sweat under his cloak as the sun beams down from a cloudless sky, glinting off all of Molly's hornwear. There are more tieflings here than in Rosohna, the majority decked out like flashy cousins of the perky lavender brat at Fjord's side, and more than a few wink and coo the way of some of the Nein, laughing as they pass.

Maybe bringing Molly here will recharge him so much he'll explode from joy, no more moping about in kitchens.

When a human starts to fall into step with Molly and ask if he's free for the night, Fjord reaches over Molly's head to shove the guy away, back into the throngs of people along the wharf. ]

No, thank you, he's busy.

[ It's cute, how the half-orc tries to start something but it immediately just sounds sweet rather than the little tease it was supposed to be. Molly chuckles and comfortably walks next to Fjord for a while until he starts to see other tieflings. He hasn't really seen any since Jester and it's exciting to see others of his kind.

Especially when they start hooting at him in infernal and he has to clap back with 'yeah his dick is proportional, too!' in his native tongue to build up Fjord when someone makes a saucy comment about that thick, armor-covered chest. He's too busy laughing that he barely even notices the guy that asks if he's free, and the next second his 'suitor' is pushed away before Molly could reply.

The array of feelings that the gesture creates are so weird. Irritation to be disturbed, but also irritation that Fjord did that. Gratitude that Fjord did that. A bit of fear just for the hell of it. Affection, to be protected even if he didn't need to be.

He settles on amusement. It was safest. ]

You know, I'm pretty sure he thinks you bought me for the night, now.

Funny, that's what he wanted to do.

[ Frowning, he ploughs on through the crowd as they head to the Lavish Chateau and makes a point of not noticing anyone eyeing up Molly along the way. Not again. It's annoying but not so much as the harsh Infernal that other tieflings share with a vague nod toward him which he suspects isn't something he wants to hear anyway.

Mercifully, the chateau is close.

A swirl of activity occurs as they make their way past all the patrons and, with the minotaur's permission once Jester tells him she's here for Marion, head upstairs where it's quieter. Introductions take a little longer, once Molly is called over to Jester's mom. ]

Ah, I wonder what my rates would be...

[ Molly says with a smirk to Fjord, wiggling his brows before he continues moving with the group. They're let into the Chateau with the Nein, and he's immediately struck with how fancy everything was, a smile on his face and some naked, raw amazement that dug its way out from underneath the showman persona.

Then he is introduced to Marion and Molly is hugged without preamble. Jester introduces him as her almost-brother and babbles about how much they all love him and that he's back now and 'he's sooo cool, mama'. The purple tiefling is so charmed by this gorgeous woman and her friendliness that he forgets everything else, happily chatting with Marion and jokingly flirting with her to his heart's content. ]

[ For his part Fjord kisses Marion's hand and accepts the hug she gives him, like the others letting Molly take the spotlight. He politely excuses himself to unpack and changes into a light cotton shirt, sighing with relief to have his armour off at last. He has a brief wash to cool down his face from the sun and wanders back to Marion's apartment where he quietly takes up a spot on the armrest of Beau's chair, listening to the fuss. ]

[ By the time Fjord comes back, Molly is talking about some of his adventures with the circus, entertaining Marion as the rest of the Nein join in or already left to their own rooms to change. ]

...and after that, none of us was ever allowed to buy groceries without supervision again!

[ Molly finishes, and basks in the laughter his story creates. It seems Nicodranas draws out the best in him, and he looks really happy. Turning to smile at Fjord as the half-orc enters, he walks over to meet him, giving Fjord a kiss on the cheek and a swat on the ass as he walks past. ]

My turn, then we better go see the town!

[ Trust Molly to fucking abscond after that little display that silences the room. ]

... Anyone else fancy an ale? I fancy an ale! Beau, you're with me! [ "But I'm not thirs- oh, yeah, okay." Fjord claps her on the shoulder and all but drags her downstairs, taking amused drinks orders on the way out the room.

She leers and taunts him the entire time they're getting drinks, not at all helping with his green blush. By the time they return he gets a knowing look from Marion who graciously, in her everlasting wisdom, changes the conversation away from Jester's debate on whether having your ass smacked hurts to some flowers in a vase that she offers to give Yasha for her books.

Fjord stews with his drink, wondering if he needed to ask Molly for separate rooms earlier. Hmm. Mixed signals. ]

[ About twenty minutes later, Molly appears again. He has changed his clothes completely, into a white dress-like outfit that looks unusually tame on the flamboyant tiefling... until he takes a few more steps down and it is shown to have a high slit at the front with those thigh-high boot underneath. The top part barely cling to his shoulders, open in the front to show of both tattoos and scars, and his more dangly jewelry has been removed and replaced with nice rings around his horns instead.

The back is just as deeply cut and his entire pyramid and other parts of the back tattoo nicely centered in it. His tail sticks out from what seems to be a custom-made hole and he just seems far too pleased with himself.

A gold belt full of jingly chains hold both his money pouch and one dagger, and make a little chiming sound as he meets the others. Jester is immediately excited that he fit in her mom's old dress and Mollymauk preens under her compliments. ]

Do you like it, Fjooord? [ Jester asks, and Molly looks up at the half-orc under his lashes, forked tongue slipping out to wet his lips. ]

[ He's moments away from commenting that maybe Jester and Caduceus could pick up tips on dressing like a Cleric when he sees that slit in the ensemble (picks out those tall boots, oh) and hears that it's one of Marion's old dresses, so he ends up fumbling for what to say that isn't a direct compliment and failing. ]

... Looks nice.

[ He's determined not to let anything show but his blush, tearing his eyes away from investigating the new jewellery on Molly to the others. ]

Anyone else up for a trip to the beach?

[ Where he absolutely won't be staring at Molly and all that easy-access skin. No. ]

[ Molly looks very pleased with himself, leaning to the railing while watching the rest of the group. It wasn't quite the comment he was hoping for from Fjord, but he knows the man is an awkward bastard at times. Instead he just stays there, letting the light show off his good side. (all of them).

Jester excitedly tells them she, Veth, Beau and Yasha are going to go to a tattoo place because Yasha needs a Chaos Crew tattoo and now they're finally here! They can meet up on the beach later. Caduceus says he's going to go get some groceries and then pick up Caleb so they can all enjoy the sea. The look he gives both Molly and Fjord is gentle but stern at the same time. (Wishing they could just talk to each other.) ]

Sounds like it's me and you, paladin boy~! [ Molly says with a smirk. ] You can show me around and then we can head to the water. I want my very own introduction to the sea from the seaman himself.
