[ Molly has a lovely day of shopping, sightseeing and squabbling with the girls, getting some errands done and even bothering Caleb and Yussa with lunch they bought for them. They have all returned when the wildbros come back; Beau and Jester are in their room (and Jester immediately makes grabby hands for the doughnuts), while Veth is hanging out with her family again. That leaves the circus kids, Molly draped in Yasha's lap in Marion's sitting room.
He smiles brightly as he sees Fjord, waving from his barbarian throne. The shell on his horn has changed, now more securely attached with actual chain and rings, and a bead of green sea glass added just before the hanging purple shell - which seems to have gotten a coating of something to make it less brittle and more shiny.
The tiefling also has a new outfit - something more traditionally Menagerie-an but with a Molly flair. A very low-cut shirt with billowing silk sleeves in shimmering colors, a pair of pants with slits almost all they way up the sides and a belt that definitely would make a jingling sound if he stands up. ]

We had a lovely day at the plant nurseries, yes. Look at you, you're practically a fancy southerner now.
[ Doughnuts are distributed via Jester as she sweeps the entire box from him and starts designating flavours. Fjord leans down to play with that dangling shell, now bejewelled and chained, to Molly's horn, delivering a peck of a kiss. He takes a seat on the empty chaise longue, hooking an arm over the side of it and stretching out with a groan to be off his feet; how Caduceus is still up and now gardening on Marion's balcony is beyond him. The sun has baked his biceps a slightly darker green when he itches a shoulder. ]
There are nurseries for plants? That sounds weirdly adorable. [ He grins, just being a shit while Yasha actually looks interested. ] Did you change the seed diapers?
[ Molly is given a doughnut and he smiles as a thank you, lazily breaking of a piece to munch on. ]
Do you like it? The store didn't want to let me leave without it. It was like it was meant for me.
[ It seems like he's a little more at ease with showing the scar left from his death, if the low-cut shirt is any indicator. Maybe someone's reassurance has worked with making him feel a little better about his chest - although he's still interested in tattooing it. ]

Yasha, if you want to see the nurseries tomorrow Caduceus wants to go back again. They have a lot of flowers in bloom already.

[ Molly catches the cushion with his own foot and flips it up to take, shoving it behind himself for extra comfort while Yasha rolls her eyes and instead nods at Fjord - she would like that.
Meanwhile, the tiefling has no problem showing his best side (they're all his best sides) for Fjord in his new outfit, red eyes full of amusement and happiness in one. The gaze softens a bit at the comment of being seasonal, and then he laughs at the sun headdress idea. ]
Oh, I knew I was missing something! Dang, I better go back to the stores tomorrow to find that.
[ We could make you one! Jester says excitedly, the look on her face definitely telling she's already planning a crafting party. ]
[ Whenever he catches Molly's eye he pats the open space beside him, having let him lounge alone for approximately five whole minutes. Fjord is tired, hungry, and misses the weight of the tiefling at his side. It's amazing how quickly he's grown used to it in just a week's time. ]
You know what I'd absolutely love, Jessie? [ Pausing for dramatic effect, ] A beach barbecue. We could have it out the back in the Chateau courtyard, that way your mother could hang out in the shade downstairs while we all cook dinner under the stars.
[ At the offer, he slides off Yasha and gives her a peck on the forehead before he drapes himself over Fjord instead... like the oversized cat he is. His tail curls and uncurls against the half-orc's leg and he looks quite content with his new kingdom.

The enclosed courtyard at the back of the Chateau makes for a cosy patio where the Nein set up Marion in a blanketed chair and the grill is, after much argument, built on the stone ground instead of the grass ("Beau, you're going to set the entire fucking yard alight if you keep jabbing the coals") with Caleb taking over management of the meat side ("so that none of us are accidentally poisoned by undercooked swine, I will keep an eye on the fire") and Caduceus the vegetarian options, keeping his own eye on their wizard. The night sky is littered with stars beyond the canopy of the porch, the moon and neighbourhood lanterns shining down on Beau and Yasha stargazing, Veth and her family enjoying a picnic supplied routinely by Caleb, while Fjord sits on the steps with his beer and enjoys a bit of both sides of the barbecue to make both chefs happy. Jester naps with her mother, cuddled up.

This get-together works wonders, as well. The food is great, the company better and he's a little buzzed from both ale and how good he feels. Full of food, drink and love from this family of theirs.

[ He scoots closer to lean an arm behind him, stealing one of those stones for himself. It's slightly flatter than the rest so he squints, takes aim, and skims it across the waves. Plip, plip, plip, plop! ]
[ He chuckles at the poke, blowing out his stomach as big as he can and then regretting it when it threatens to make him burp. ]
I certainly am out of control tonight!
[ Molly grins and then watches as Fjord tosses a stone. It skips rather than plops and the tiefling cheers excitedly. Of course he has to try it as well, but his just splash the water a bit. ]
Mm, seems you have to be a seaman to do that right.
[ He leans a bit to Fjord, full, tipsy and happy. ]
[ Molly is a quick learner, at least, especially with a warm chest to his back and an arm helping him. He even manages to skip a stone on his own, which makes him brighten up in a big, fang-filled smile before he leans his bead back to beg a kiss. ]
This is such a nice night. I'm glad you came up with this idea, everyone's having a great time.
[ Molly laughs at that, nuzzling close against Fjord and wiggling his tongue a bit in that mouth while he's being kept 'captive'. Then he takes it back and grins. ]

[ On the opposite side of Molly where Fjord isn't leaned forward, he traces the curl of a curl from tip to base and back again, sifting through curls each time they rise up into his hand. Slow and lazy. ]
[ He does like Molly in bed. A lot. Really, he's not sure many people even have sex that phenomenal. Reasserting his hold on him, he wraps both arms around but sits with his head cocked so they can still each other. ]
The thing is, [ here it comes, ] I think you're lovely all the time. Even when you're pissing me off, it doesn't matter, because I might get mad but I still care about you. I had a great time out with Caduceus today, then when we got back I'd missed your smile and laughter ... even the snottier comments you come out with.
[ His hand drifts up to brush under a lavender chin, thumb catching on a lip, and in the semi-darkness of the golden jetty lanterns he sees Molly in warm waves of colour to one side and chromatic dark-vision on the other. Both are beautiful. The stain of long dark lashes are shadows Fjord could fall into as his voice softens, thumb gliding up over a cheek. ]
[ Molly is quiet as Fjord speaks, which is unusual in itself. Normally he'd preen and agree, but this went beyond that. Normally his shittier sides were something nobody wanted to deal with but Yasha, and hearing that Fjord liked him not only despite that, but because of it as well.
This was tender, sweet. Things he wasn't as accustomed to as wild sex and escapades.
Those red eyes have their own little glow as the light reflects in them for his darkvision, and the tiefling's smile softens even more. ]
