[ Feels like his stealth is a nat20 on the secret gift in his cloak, watching Molly fuss with his jewellery. ]

Everyone's ran their errands, I went out with Caleb for a while. He needed more fancy wizard shit for the spells Yussa gave him. [ Sidling up behind him, he wraps his arms around Molly and waits for his head to turn before dropping a kiss. ] Lunch is on if you want to catch a bite before we leave.

[ Molly looks miles better than he did last night. Still a little paler than usual, but Fjord trusts food and company will help a lot. The lavender nightmare is a social beast. ]

[ Molly meets that kiss with a smile, finally managing to get his horn-to-ear chain settled at the same time. ]

I think lunch sounds great. I'm not super hungry but I should keep eating. Healer's orders.

[ He leans a bit against that solid chest, shamelessly snuggling in even if the leather armor wasn't as comfy as Fjord usually was. ]

Let me wash off a bit and we'll eat!

I'll tell Veth not to scarf down all the food, see you down there.

[ Another smooch on the cheek and he smacks dat ass, heading out feeling buoyantly happy.

Everyone's mood picks up when they hear Molly is feeling well enough to eat lunch and plans are made for when they return to Rosohna, checking in with Essek and getting back to what passes for normal life.

Mollymauk! yelps Luc, the first to spot the tiefling when Molly joins them, turning all heads at the table as the little boy waves. ]

[ Molly guffaws at the smack, rolling his eyes (even if that's hard to see). After Fjord leaves, he gathers his last things and then goes to the washbowl to wash his face a bit and add some of his makeup before he fully feels like himself again.

Sashaying down to meet the others, he brightens up as the Luc calls his name. Halfling children were TINY and he can easily pick the boy up and flip him around, getly wiggling the child and making Luc scream with laughter before he smooches that brown hair and puts him back. (Veth smiles, even if she tries to hide it with a mouthful of food before she 'chastises' Molly.) ]

Hello, loves! Did you save any shrimp for a poor, injured man?

[ Now that he's fine, he can milk it a bit for fun. It definitely works as he's handed a whole plateful and some rolls. ]

[ With Molly relatively back to normal and the group complete, lunch is a cheerful affair that only ends in one argument over whether it's sensible to transport back in Menagerie clothing, something Jester wants to do and Caleb warns against with the significant weather drop up north. When Fjord heads to the bar to get the final round of drinks he returns with what looks like bright fruit juice stabbed with multiple rainbow umbrellas and flowers, setting it down in front of Molly as a last-day treat. It has a ring of salt around the rim, spicy for tieflings, and is most definitely not just juice.

He leans over to be heard over Veth and Beau debating whether to have a second lunch in the Xhorhaus, resting a hand on the ridges of a tail. ]

This was called a Sailor's Delight on the menu, I thought you might like it since we don't know when we'll be down this way again.

[ Day drinking, why not. ]

[ Of course Mollymauk 'Disaster' Tealeaf approves of day drinking and this looked amazing, smiling like a child at a birthday party. He forgets all about his additions of wearing beach attire to Xhorhas just to mess with the people there and instead steals a kiss when Fjord's leans over.

Then he takes a sip and almost purrs at the taste. Spicy salt and rum, delicious fruit juices... served cold with unnecessary colorful things that Molly just loves. The salt burns his tongue a bit, but it's soothed immediately by the rest of the drink. ]

Mmm... that is just sinful.

[ So were the fingers at his tail, and he feels strangely calmed by the resting touch. ]

[ Seeing Molly light up with happiness is such a wholesome experience, now that they're an item and he's the cause of that smile, that he feels the reward burn pleasantly in his chest as he accepts the kiss. ]

Good, because you're my delight.

[ Patting that tail since it's a safer place to rest his hand at the table than Molly's ass. He steals a sip of the drink and sneezes into his own arm, smacking his lips in distaste. ]

Dear fuck, holy shitballs! Ack. That's ... really tasty, yeah.

[ Beau groans and says they're just way too domestic and acting like an old married couple, while Jester looks like she wants to take notes. Molly just seems proud, enjoying the attention both from annoyance and admiration, preening like the peacock he is.

Then Fjord takes a sip and Molly blinks at that reaction, checking the drink right afterwards. It tasked fine to him? ]

Too strong for you, baby?

[ Taking a nice deep drag of his ale, mmhm. ]

It's lovely, really. Little sweet for me, but ...

[ Thumbs up!! It'll rot all your fangs! ]

[ Molly snorts again and pecks Fjord's cheek. Not a fan of sweet things, noted. (He'll just brush his pearly whites later.)

He continues to slowly enjoy the drink and shrimp until both plant and fancy glass is empty and he feels like a thousand gold. As they start getting their things to leave, the tiefling takes a moment in the nice back yard of the chateau to enjoy the last chance of sun for a while. ]

This was a great vacation... and I think I know why those things arrived for you.

[ He says when Fjord arrives to get him - someone would herd him and Yasha might be glad for the break right now. ]

[ Sweet on Molly is nice, a sweet slap to the senses straight from the glass is too much for this basic bitch of a half-orc and his beer. Once the fun of lunch is out of the way and everyone is prepping to leave, he finds Molly in the back yard where they had the barbecue the night before. The memory of the first half of the evening is wonderful, the latter ... Not so much, understatement of the century.

He folds his arms, leaning in the doorway. ]

Because Uk'otoa is a shithead with a deathwish?

Well, that part's obvious!

[ He smiles, shaking his head before he comes over to lean to Fjord. ]

I don't think that bastard's cronies will show up all the time, though. I talked a bit to Caleb and we think it's because I clawed you when I fell into the water earlier that evening. So your blood was in the water, and apparently sharks can sense that? So maybe those fishheads can as well.

[halforc]

That just means the next time I'm swimming in the water and get cut, they'll show up again. I can't always be looking over my shoulder near the sea.

[ He runs his hands up Molly's arms, straightening. ]

I'll Commune when we get home, see what the Wildmother has to say. Then ... I'll figure it out.

Yeah... I just figured it might help to know they're not stalking you.

[ He places a gentle kiss on Fjord's forehead, standing on his tippytoes as he does. ]

We'll fix this. It's your home, that seasnake is the worst ex.

[ Taking Fjord's hand, he tries to lead him towards the door so they could all head off to Yussa's, not wanting to get chalk all over the Chateau when an actual circle was a small walk away. ]

We'll come back soon, and we'll go see that reef again.

[ Returning that kiss once he looks up and has a cheek within range, he squeezes the hand in his en route to Yussa's tower. He hangs them back from the others while they talk, not hard to do when he can hear Jester telling everyone in a stage-whisper they're canoodling.

Later, definitely. ]

I'm just grateful we got to go this time. You ... and no jokes, you really took my breath away.

[ Kissing the back of that snake-y hand. ]

[ Molly walks along with him, grinning a bit at Jester and then smiling back at Fjord. The sweet kiss on his hand and those words has the tiefling's smile softening, and he hooks his arm with the half-orc's with a smile.

He wants to joke and say 'It's what a I do, love, take people's breaths away', but it didn't quite suit right now. Instead he just leans on Fjord a bit more, smiling as his tail makes happy little flicks behind him. ]

[ Now Veth has a reason to groan at them all the way to the tower.

They teleport from the tower directly into the foyer of the Xhorhaus: the temperature drops a solid ten degrees, making everyone shiver through loud complaints as they disperse. It's later in the night, once everyone is going to bed after a very hot dinner to warm them up and Fjord has enjoyed a dunk in the hottub to get the last vestiges of the ocean out of his hair, that he seeks out Molly.

He raps on the door of whichever room Molly is in, leaning around the open crack. ]

Hey, ah. Are you busy?

[ Molly was moving some stuff to Fjord's room, somewhat sheepishly looking at the half-orc with his hands full of a dressing gown and some extra pillows because he's a pillow hoarder. ]

Hello, love.

[ He tosses the stuff on the bed and closes the distance between them for a little kiss. ]

I'm not, I just moved a few things... like we said.

[ !! What a pleasant sight, he thought Molly might just be faffing around but this is ... cute. Stepping inside with one arm still tucked behind his back, he uses the other to wrap around him as he accepts that kiss, offering up one of his own to reassure the hesitation he tastes in those words. ]

Planning on suffocating me and stealing all my gold, huh?

[ The tiny tension eases at once and Molly laughs, wrapping both arms around Fjord's neck to enjoy that kiss. ]

Of course. Didn't you know I was a secret dragon and all I wanted was a half-orc dinner and a bunch of pillows to murder him with?

[ He grins, bopping the smooth curve of a horn against that chest. ]

We dragons are in dire need of as many pillows as possible or our big heads will suffer.

[ Molly, being wrapped up around Fjord, may notice he's still only using one arm to hold onto him and swaying his shoulders to keep his other hand hidden. ]

Funny you should mention being a dragon ...

[ He waits for that head to pop back up before waggling his brows. ]

You may have one last memento from your first trip from the coast. I couldn't help myself when I saw it ... [ Shaking his head, wondering why his heart is always so full and light in his chest these days. It's everything to do with Molly. ] Do you want it?

[ An innocent question. ]

[ He stops and looks at Fjord, curious and confused in one. Then those teeth are bared in a grin and Molly nods eagerly. Last time he had gotten such a pretty shell, after all, and it seemed Fjord really liked giving presents.

(Molly liked both giving and receiving, but we know that already.)

Taking a step back, he glances toward the hidden hand. ]

You're spoiling me, Fjord. Careful or I'll become even more of a brat!

It was your first time at the seaside, I just want it to be the best experience possible.

[ And also spoil him a lot, he's never had anyone to do this with before. ]

Sit down on the bed and close your eyes. Go on!

Darling, we had amazing sights, amazing sex, amazing food... it was wonderful.

[ There's a laugh and another peck before he moves off to the bed, sitting down on it like a good boy. Winking at Fjord, he then closes his eyes - even putting his hands in front of them for good measure. ]

He moves around Molly and kneels in front of him, placing the small hand-held wooden chest in his palms and holding on as he explains. ]

You were so glad to get your boots back and said that they were special like your coat, but then you mentioned that your jewellery didn't matter much. I think it looks great, by the way. You don't need to change a thing about yourself, if you ask me ...

[ His hands slide from Molly's to the tiefling's knees, letting him look for himself at the mixed batch of rubies, emeralds and sapphires, the delicate chains in gold and silver. All of it could fit in one palm but each tiny stone gleams with a depth glass never could. ]
