[ His snores rise as his head tips back with the petting to his hair, growing louder with a line of drool dampening his pillow. The man could use a shove and wouldn't blame anyone for doing it. ]

[devilstongue]

[ Molly's just gonna... pull that head back in the previous position and try to not laugh about it. If it continues, he might attempt to turn him around. ]

[halforc]

[ Molly moves Fjord's head ... and it rolls his face right into the pillow so the snoring stops completely, probably to suffocate himself. What did he do to deserve this betrayal??? ]

[devilstongue]

[ Okay, now he's laughing. ]

Fjord, turn around.

[ Molly says softly, gently pulling a bit and trying to make sure he doesn't frighten the half-orc again. ]

I refuse to be responsible for you choking on your own pillow!

[halforc]

[ Mumbling as he comes to consciousness, this time groggily, he reaches out and drapes his arms onto whatever part of Molly and that tiefling heat he can find, then rolls onto his back to drag it with him. ]

I'm awake, m'wake ...

[devilstongue]

[ Molly lets himself be grabbed - but didn't quite expect to be rolled with Fjord. Trying his absolute best to not laugh, he spreads himself out on top of the half-orc so that he wouldn't be cold anymore. ]

That's better, baby. Go back to sleep.

[halforc]

[ Go back to sleep has a contrary effect and he yawns widely, tusks on show before he smacks his lips and blinks blearily at the dim room (just as fucking dark as when they fell asleep, thanks Roshona), then up at Molly. ]

Time s'it?

[ Who fucking knows until Caleb moves around the house with purpose at exactly seven-am, to be fair, but it's the first thing out of his mouth. He peers around for the fallen blankets, soldiers lost to the floor. ]

[devilstongue]

[ Dang. Oh well, at least he didn't frighten him like he did during the nipple pinch. ]

It's still night, love. You can sleep.

[ Now he notices the fallen blankets and fishes the nice fur up with his tail before grabbing it and tossing it over them both. ]

[halforc]

[ Sleep sounds so good, oh, and the blankets are back. Fjord squirrels around and pushes his back up against that toasty chest, gathering up the fur to his face. Half-orc burrito is go. ]

Y'sleep too, sweetheart?

[ Just checking. ]

[devilstongue]

Yeah, I will. Don't worry.

[ He chuckles, so utterly fond of this beautiful mess of a man. He snuggles in as well, leaning the pillows correctly for his horns and then burying his face against Fjord's neck. ]

Goodnight.

[halforc]

[ His reply is a snore, once more soft as he passes out. Not too many hours later, Fjord wakes up properly and yawns again, arching back into the lovely big spoon framing him so well. This is his new life now, he decides, to live like a cosy bed-hermit forever. ]

Mornin' ...

[ Molly's snoozing in Fjord's ear, cuddled up like a backpack behind the half-orc and still asleep. When there's movement in the bed, however, he blinks long lashes and makes a protesting sound, hugging Fjord closer.

No mornings, only this. ]

[halforc]

Gotta get up, honey ...

[ He rolls around and drops kisses all over that sleepy face, nuzzling a warm neck. Fjord loops an arm around Molly's waist and reels him in for a cosy morning cuddle, still buried under the blankets, loving how soft and toasty he is when sleeping. ]

If you want to sneak out, now's the time.

[devilstongue]

[ That gets him going, blinking away the sleep and curling into that wonderful cuddle for a moment. He could stay like that forever, but he places a kiss on Fjord's forehead before sitting up. The tiefling is grinning, morning whines turned to excitement. ]

You're such a genius, baby. We can get breakfast on the way.

[halforc]

That's my boy.

[ Molly's excitement ramps up his own, playfully smacking a purple thigh as he rolls off the bed to start getting dressed. He shivers as he does so, still not acclimated to the kryn's cool twilight that never fucking changes, more eager than he's been in a whole week to get into his armour. ]

Sleep alright?

[devilstongue]

[ Molly preens a bit at that first sentence like it was a wonderful compliment (it was) and then rolls after Fjord to get on his feet. ]

I had a weird dream, and woke up a bit. Then you rolled over and almost suffocated yourself, so I had to fix that.

[ He says with another grin as he starts his morning like most when he doesn't have breakfast in bed - stretching every muscle in his body and rolling his shoulders before he picks up his clothes and starts putting them on. Gotta limber up, after all - he might need it today. ].

[halforc]

I what?

[ He doesn't remember any of that, sounds like mischief. ]

What happened in your dream to make it so weird?

[ Tugging on his boots, oof. Someone ate a little too much rich food at the coast, those thigh-highs are getting tight. ]

[devilstongue]

I kissed you and your head fell back, because apparently my love is that powerful.

[ Cheeky wink. ]

You fixed yourself after some prodding.

[ He fiddles with his boots as well, not quite as spoiled with the wonderful food as he spent one whole day not eating. They both need some exercise, though... but maybe not the Beau kind. (Plus thick thighs are nice.)

At the mention of the dream, Molly's first instinct isn't to lie, which is... a weird realization. He pauses a for a moment and then shakes his head. ]

I dreamt that I was walking in moonlight, and it was all really lovely and soothing. [ Soft and peaceful. ] There were flowers growing all over me in so many colors... but then the roots started to pull me towards the ground and then into it, so I woke up.

[halforc]

Oh, that sounds legit.

[ He can fully imagine himself swooning in his sleep if Molly was macking on him. He's distracted from pinning his cloak into place when Molly's recounting of the dream takes a darker turn than he was expecting, running a hand down his back as the tiefling focuses on his boots. ]

Are you feeling okay? That sounds creepy as hell.

[devilstongue]

[ That hand on his back is grounding, and the tiefling relaxes a bit as his boots finally buckle and he can lean back to the touch. ]

It was... strange. First it was wonderful, and then it just switched gears.

[ Shrug. ]

Dreams are weird sometimes, and it wasn't so bad that I woke up screaming. I usually sleep like a baby.

[ He turns to kiss Fjord and then stands, pulling on his coat. ]

Never mind that, I have a store to show you! Since its right next to an inn, we can eat there.

[halforc]

You can wake me up if you want, next time you have a dream like that. I won't mind.

[ He'd rather Molly did instead of being weirded out all alone. ]

Let's get going, snap up some breakfast and then you can traumatise me like you're clearly planning to.

[ Fjord can tell something is up by the excitement of Molly leaping out of bed, he just doesn't know what. It's good to see him to energised, especially when it comes to spending time together, so Fjord is getting excited by proxy. ]

[devilstongue]

[ That was sweet and his smile softens for a moment. ]

It wasn't that bad, I just held you and it got better.

[ He gives another smooch and then the softness turns into a mischievous grin. It's fun to see Fjord both excited and accepting his fate at once. ]

Oh, it's either that or you'll be entranced. Any way, it will be the time of your life.

[ Molly puts his swords in their sheaths and then opens the door to peek out, starting their careful sneaking to get out of the Xhorhaus. ]

[ I just held you and it got better. Well, now his heart is extra full.]

I can take anything you throw at me if I get some bacon inside me first.

[ Successfully sneaking out the house, he freezes when he sees the girls' light flick on as they close the door and grabs Molly by the sleeve to hurry him down the street and out of sight like two naughty kids escaping their parents. If Jester hears they're heading to a mysterious shop she'll definitely want to come along, then so will Beau and everyone bloody else ...

Not today. He offers Molly his arm as they walk, still yawning as they pass the straggling morning crowd as the neighbourhood wakes up around them. ]

I promise you bacon.

[ With that, they sneak out of the Xhorhaus - more Monty Python than Mission Impossible, but they manage to pass by all the rooms without drawing suspicion, so Molly will call that a success.

He's happy to take Fjord's arm, still marveling at this city and how different it was. All kinds of species, even those known as 'monstrous' elsewhere, living together. No weird looks at a tiefling or a half-orc, especially not when they come to the Gallimaufry District and everything lights up in colors rather than the drabness of the Firmaments.

Molly likes it here, suspicious politics and weird religion aside.

It only takes them about twenty or so minutes to find the Blue Eyed Dragon tavern, which is run by an orc and a bugbear. Being his bombastic self and having an opportinuty to be a social butterfly he greets them with a grin. Mollymauk happily orders them breakfast, flirts with both the owners for good measure and starts showing off the jewelry when the bugbear asks. ]

[ It's so freaking chilly, that's the one thought that sears through Fjord's mind as he wraps his cloak around himself. Bloody eternal twilight or whatever it is, he misses the blankets of their bed and naked skin pressed up against his own; his thoughts lighten when he has a plate piled high with bacon and beans, soaking up buttery garlic sauce in bread, which is only slightly less delectable than his boyfriend.

A dribble of it slips off his beard as he eyes the bugbear flirting with Molly, rolling his eyes at the poor sap before finishing off his meal. He does smirk a little when Molly showcases the lilac shell, however, hiding his smugness in a deep draught of ale. ]
