Seeing what Molly is up to he drops his own spoon and takes hold of Molly's hand once he has his next spoonful, looming forward to lick it off, eyes on him. ]
[ It's cute when he's so curious and frustrated in one!
Molly's not quite prepared for the ice cream raid, though, and his eyes widen a bit as that broad tongue 'steals' his. It looks so good, and he's not talking about the ice cream, here. To feel that on his body, suck on it when they kiss... fuck, now he has a semi in the little mom-and-pop restaurant. ]
Mm... I think you're the one hogging all the best bits there, love.
[ He lets the spoon go free with a pop, licking his lips as he sinks back in his seat. The waffle gets stabbed, partly out of sexual frustration and partly because he needs something in his mouth now even if it can't be the purple snack on the other side of the table. So, mrrph. Waffle. ]
Just making sure I get something sweet out of meeting up with you today.
[ Molly purrs, licking the spoon 'clean' from Fjord with the curl of his tongue before going for more ice cream. It's nice and creamy, with some less sweet dark chocolate in it, so it's not too overpowering. Very rich, though, so it feels like he would have to be rolled out of this restaurant later.]
[ Molly happily takes the morsel offered, getting chocolate sauce on his upper lip as he does. ]
Mmm... I get why you asked for that, now. Delicious.
[ Smiling, he chins a hand as Fjord asks what he's going to do the rest of the week. ]
Well, I don't have any more shoots that need any more attention than good lighting and my dick, but I have an interview with a blogger at the end of the week. I'm also booked for more Damali Cosmetics sessions next month, so I will not be able to see you for a while after that.
I don't mind if you're covered in glitter, I'll take that over not seeing you for weeks on end.
[ He has an emotional sad face in his heart when he thinks about not getting to be around Molly, which is just how healthy crushes work, he supposes. ]
[ The kiss is infused with a warm chuckle, savoured in the sunshine beating down on them and their melting ice cream.
The week flies by in a flurry of texts and calls as Fjord works through his usual shifts with no real urgency, answering Molly's questions and queries as they start to pile up a little more toward the friday when it comes to driving down. Fjord is in Caduceus's little van because they can fit their stuff in the back without a fuss and they swing around Molly's way so that Yasha can follow them in her car. He leans out his window to give Molly a peck on the cheek while they load up.
Caduceus's van, with its extra space, also rapidly fills up somehow.
Fjord sends voice messages on the drive down. The countryside is beautiful where the fields have been rented out for the weekend and they park up at the other end of one where people have already set up their OOC tents, a number of them in the process of doing so. Beyond the fence, the main field is a riot of colour as far more elaborate, fancy tents have been erected for the larp, flags flying here and there as everyone gets the scenery ready. Most people are wearing normal clothes but a few are already in the spirit as they wear antlers and capes. The spot Caduceus chooses is in eyeshot of the crew and first-aid, after a suggestion from Fjord, and it's truly exciting to hop out onto the grass and ferry their gear to set up there, someone in the camp tootling a merry tune on a flute when they start making camp. ]
Probably a bard, [ he tells Molly with a wry grin, ] never too early for a bad song.
[ Mollymauk is so relieved that they managed to rent a car for this, because gods know they couldn't fit any of it on her bike. Her new foam sword still had to be tied to the roof, so it was a close one.
The drive is nice and he's so excited to try something new, phone full of character sheet and information about everything. Yasha smiles as he chatters all the way to the site, taking in the lovely countryside more than the excited tiefling.
He hops out of the car as soon as it stops and stretches every little muscle before looking around like a child at a carnival. Thankfully Yasha drops his duffle back on his shoulder before he flits off somewhere, and Molly is temporarily tamed by getting his stuff and carry (some) of it. ]
Hah, at least it isn't Wonderwall. Or ye olde miracle wall.
[ He's wearing less jewelry than usual, but what he has on is very vintage or faux-medieval, and he's in the flowy pirate shirt and sweatpants. Molly has three looks (three looks, and that's it!) - fashion model, thrift store monster and just fucking goblincore.
Yasha somehow empties the car in two rounds and starts helping set up the tents with Caduceus, fondly rolling her eyes at Molly as the tiefling is constantly distracted by people's outfits, props and more. ]
Dear gods, is that an actual tower shield? Fjord, these people are intense!
This is nothing, wait until everyone is dolled up for breakfast. We'll be having that in-character at one of the inns, by the way.
[ He keeps the details of that (faux inn-keepers with camping grills outside the 'buildings') to himself, chuckling to himself as he sees Molly flaunting his new favourite shirt for the weekend. Currently in a tee and shorts, Fjord offers to take Molly's bag and jerks his head to the IC field, currently filled with folks hard at work including the crew in their black, clearly emblazoned tees. ]
Go on, go say hi. Ask for character names if you meet anyone, you might not recognise them tomorrow. [ Glancing at Caduceus, they share a knowing look. It turns softly on Molly again. ] Explore if you want to, the three of us can manage the tents.
[ It's a little bit like letting your kid into a candy store unsupervised, telling Molly that - he heads off to the group of people at the field immediately (after giving Fjord a smooch). He isn't seen again until at least an hour or two later, big grin on his face and hair full of flowers. ]
Everyone is so creative! Some people are even playing zombies!
[ He smells like incense and a bit of hookah, some of his jewelry replaced with other things and possibly a little tipsy as well. (This is why he's a mess.) ]
[ By the time Molly returns the two tents are up and Fjord is sitting on a chair with Caduceus and Yasha also gathered around the little camping stove. All of them have a bowl of chunky vegetable stew; Fjord waves at Molly to sit next to him on the only chair left, offering some bread. ]
You little lush, look at the state of you. Sit down and eat something. [ He glances at Yasha who looks like she's failing at keeping a grin down. ] Why do I feel like we're going to lose him tomorrow?
[ Oh, we are. Yasha says, pulling Molly down into the free seat. The tiefling is more than happy to sit down and have some bread and stew, babbling about all the costumes he's seen. He's smiling so much, clearly enjoying everything already.
He can't wait for tomorrow. ]
When do we get up? How long is it going to take to get ready?
[ We can get up whenever we want, says Caduceus, riding Molly's high with a pleased expression. He's happy to have more friends, especially with how easily the firbolg gets along with them; Fjord's glad he doesn't have to worry about him so much these days. Me and Fjord usually have breakfast at the big green tent that sells food.
Fjord perks up with an Oh! ]
I put some fake gold coins in a little pouch for you guys, so you can "buy" things, remind me to give it to you before bed. Other players like to trade trinkets but the people who serve food and drink take actual fake coins as payment, they trade it in with the crew for their expenses in feeding the camp. Or ... well, the people who exclusively eat there all weekend, anyway. We've got our own food so just enjoy yourselves out there.
A little pouch of gold coins... that's so adorable.
[ Molly smiles and then picks out one of the pouches he has for his character. It's made out a bunch of fabrics and smells strongly of nag champa. ]
I think I have a few fake jewels in here...
[ He shows the glass and plastic 'gems' and chatters on most of the evening. Finally, he kisses Fjord goodnight before Yasha hauls him off to their tent. Despite his excitement he's getting a pretty good night's sleep even if it is kind of uncomfortable. (It's a good thing he's a tiefling, because apparently it was cold, too.)
Sticking his nose outside of the tent flap, there's a bit of mist on the ground so it's probably fairly early. It doesn't mean he can't get dressed into his character and just... do some scimitar flips to warm up. ]
[ Fjord is a hundred percent certain that tomorrow will go well, that he's covered all his bases when it comes to emergencies, and can relax. That doesn't stop him from shivering in a huge wad of blankets all night and even accepting an arm of Caduceus draped around his middle when the firbolg stirs. He wakes up with his alarm and spends a moment dozing before remembering, like a kid at yule: today's the day.
He grooms his hair into a leather-thonged ponytail and squirms into his outfits, munching on biscuits to help fill up in case breakfast doesn't go well (it's happened before). Once his boots are on he fixes his cloak into place and unzips the tent to step out into the dewy morning air, breaths escaping in a cloud.
... He's adorable. ]
Morning, stranger.
[ Whispering just loudly enough to be heard — not many people are up yet — he moves closer to the tiefling putting on a whirling dervish display, clearly stoked for the game. ]
[ Molly catches both of his swords and then bows to Fjord, tail lashing in excitement as he sees him all dressed up and cool. (The cloak looked awesome, and the armor? Top notch.) Molly had decided to not make armor and put in too much work on something he might not like, instead wearing clothes that would easily put him in a circus and that he probably got from a hundred thrift stores. Tight leggings, boots climbing halfway up his thigh and that pirate shirt open so wide that you could almost see his navel. ]
A very good morning to you as well, stranger!
[ He purrs, baring his fangs a little bit in a grin. ]
[ His gaze rakes over Molly appreciatively as he draws nearer, taking advantage of those hands being busy holding their swords to lean in and steal a morning kiss, soft and smiling. ]
You look wonderful. I want you to do me a favour and have all the fun you possibly can today. Deal?

[ He winks, sucking the ice cream off his spoon and diving in for another. ]
Not a caster, though. Technically.

[ He's existing in limbo!!
