[ Molly looks so uncomfortable, eyeing Fjord and his sleeping bag like that. Then he's making his excuse to leave and Fjord just nods, looking around the empty tent alone, wondering how he's supposed to navigate this ...

He has an idea, although it can wait for when Molly gets back. ]

[ A hundred worries run through his mind as he gets his sleeping bag (Yasha gives him a look) and then heads back. Part of him wonders if he even should, but it wasn't as if Fjord had protested them sharing the tent, just being embarrassed.

(He was cute when he was all flustered.)

Maybe he really did scare him off by being too much of a slut, but the way he had played with his hair and been sweet during dinner... fuck, he's missing a lot of things here. Probably shit he was supposed to learn just before his head was cracked open.Suddenly those missing last years of teenhood that he kind of skipped? All way too obvious now.

If this was some random person he'd just be laughing and all jokes and flirts, just being annoying instead, but he cared about Fjord. Molly just... doesn't know how to have a relationship.

Returning to the other tent, he tosses the sleeping bag on the ground. ]

Hey — Oh. [ He watches the sleeping bag get yeeted from the door, blinking for a moment as he recollects his prepared words and tries not to take that as a bad sign. ] Hey, so, I checked the weather on my phone and it's going to get cold tonight, rain and all. If you want to, we could zip our sleeping bags together into a big one and share it. Might help? Body-heat. That's what I mean, body-heat helps.

[ Quickly followed by, ]

Only if you want to, if you'd rather stay in your own we could pile some clothes on top of your bag and keep you warm that way. Layering works wonders!

[ Don't sound too eager! ]

... Not that I care about. Layering. As a preference.

[ Molly stands there for a moment, very confused. Then he sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose. Okay, he has to get this right. ]

...do you want to sleep together or not? I'm getting really mixed signals here. Is it too quick?

[ He sighs, moving over to lay his sleeping bag right next to Fjord's. ]

I don't know how to do this, I've never... had to deal with things the day after, you know? Never had something stable, so you have to help me a bit because I'm fucking confused. I just want to sleep, preferably next to you.

Yes, same. I just asked if you want to sleep together, actually.

[ He thinks. Didn't he? With the ... zipping ... suggestion. Maybe that was a bit convoluted. ]

I, [ his smile comes with a sigh, ] I was trying to be a gentleman and give you an out. I would like to sleep — quite literally — with you tonight, yes.

[ Molly relaxes visibly at that and then rolls his eyes, moving over to slip sit down with Fjord. ]

I thought it was obvious that I would sleep with you when Cad took the other tent, but then you were acting cagey about it...

[ His tail swishes as he starts zipping their sleeping bags together, but leaving a bit of an opening on one side since he knows his innate heat will probably cook Fjord otherwise. ]

I was afraid you were done with me, now that we had sex. I guess I'm a little fucked up.

Molly ...

[ His hand comes to cover one of the tiefling's as the sleeping bags are connected, Fjord leaning in as he brings it into his lap. ]

We took things a little fast last night, I wish I could have slowed down. I don't regret it, but ... I want you to know that when we get home, where we've got a decent bed or two, I'd very much like to make use of one to give you the care you deserve.

[ Molly turns his hand so that they can lace their fingers together. ]

I know. It was a little fast to advance to sex from some making out, but I loved it.

[ As soon as Fjord said he had condoms, Molly's dick had been too hard for his brain to function. ]

...and I would like that. Hooking up like this... I do that too often. Maybe not in a larp ooc field, but you know. I'd like something more. Something we're both worth.

You'll get it, I promise. This isn't like me, I don't do this with people on the regular. [ He cups Molly's cheek, thumb running gently over the height of a cheekbone. ] I haven't wanted to until you came along.

Well, then at least we're in the same boat.

[ He glances around and then laughs a little. ]

[ Amused, he slinks into the connected sleeping bag, immediately seeking out Fjord's body and attaching to it like a devilish little clam. ]

[ It's with a reluctant snort that he smiles at the bad joke, quickly hauled down into Molly's arms. It takes some wriggling, with Fjord thinking aloud as they settle. ]

How do you sleep with those horns without suffocating on your face?

[ Molly grins, turning to grab his pillow and showing it. It looks like just a firm neck support, really, formed just for his type of horns to let him sleep on the side without putting pressure on them. It could also be used to sleep on his back, since it would still support his neck and let his horns 'cradle' the skull. ]

I also have horn foam at home... essentially pads them to not end up poking your bed partner.

[ Pardon the twitching of his lips which bite themselves before straightening out. ]

You have ... foam pads for them?

[ That's so cute. ]

[ He looks at Fjord, so amused to let him into tiefling 'secrets'. ]

I have foam pads. They're the most obnoxious magenta color, I hate and love them. Most of the time I just use the horn caps, but Gustav told me it's good if I use them for support sometimes since my horns have holes in them that might be weak points.

[ ...and of course when your 'dad' tells you things, you kind of ignore it. ]

...and no, I don't know why there are holes, I think the last guy was just weird.

[ It's a very permanent thing, after all. Tiefling horns are not like deer horns that shed, nor are they permanently growing like orc tusks. They are attached to the skull and shaped hollow at the base, with a flesh core, a shitton of veins in there and then tapering to just bone the rest of the way. They bleed like crazy if cut or broken by the core, so he could have woken up from his accident without horns and have to get resin ones installed.

(To be fair, the resin ones are so cool, especially the light-up or glow-in-the-dark ones.) ]

[ His hand is drifting up before he notices it, pausing when he does. ]

Um, may I touch them?

[ It's interesting and he looks with his touch. ]

[ Molly looks a little amused at that, but nods. It's part of him, after all, and he finds it pretty sweet that Fjord is curious. ]

Sure! I can't feel much in them, but the bases are very sensitive.

[ Comes with the 'pushing out of his skin' thing. Tiefling babies who teeth and bud at the same time? Chaos. ]

[ With permission he leans up on a bent arm and brushes his fingertips down the ridges on a horn, curiously running over the tips and down to the holes, gentle in case they're weaker there. He continues up into wavy hair to the base where Molly said they're sensitive and locks eyes with him then, seeking out where scalp turns into horn. ]

... Feels like I'm doing something illicit.

[ He leans his head a bit so Fjord has access, smiling as the half-orc trails his fingers over the ridges and explores. Once he reaches the base he sighs softly. ]

Mmm... close to it.

[ Well, then. He hasn't the willpower to refuse Molly anything and kneads around the base of that horn in slow circles, gathering and releasing thick locks of hair as he goes.

A kiss pecks the corner of that happy sigh. ]

I wonder if you'll blush like a flower if I keep going.

[ Head-horn massage? Fjord has unlocked how to most effectively soothe a tiefling! Molly smiles, eyes half-closed and relaxed.

The little kiss makes him smile more, and he leans a bit into that touch. ]

I'm pretty sure I'll fall asleep, at least.

[ Fjord sinks back into the bedding and opens an arm to Molly so he can nestle in if he wants more horn-rubs. ]

Come here, I'll get to the other one.

[ It's like giving someone a really weird massage, but a massage nonetheless. ]

[ Molly lays down with Fjord, cuddling up so that his boyfriend(!) has access to his horns and nothing is poking anyone. He smiles, curling his tail around Fjord's leg. ]

Mmm... so good to me.

[ He makes a little happy noise that almost sounds like a purr, relaxing under Fjord's touch. ]

[ It makes him chuckle to have Molly so docile, petted like a prize cat. The purr warms his heart and softens his gaze, a world away from the wild creature that moans and shrieks for funds on his website. ]

You're a sweetheart. Get some rest.

[ It only takes a few more rubs before Molly is dozing off, eventually falling asleep in Fjord's arms. Sweetly, innocently. This is what was different from all the flings he's had, all the times he shows off to usernames and tips.

Someone who just holds him through the night.

The next day, they're both woken up by Yasha, who has gotten the other tent down already. In typical Molly fashion, he buries his face in Fjord's chest and whines. Gods, how he hates mornings. ]

[ Fjord sleeps like the dead, nuzzling his tiefling until he falls asleep. When morning comes he's as bad as Molly and hides with him under the blankets, grumbling and groaning into a soft head of hair and reliable horns that his cheeks rest on comfortably. ]

M'not ... getting up ...
