[ He will read and write for all eternity if it means they can talk about this - but Fjord takes pity on him and the voice he hears makes his heart flutter. ]

[ Hearing Molly all stilted and uncool makes him chuckle, feeling like his brain has melted and he has no idea how to navigate except with his heart. ]

[ There's a pleased smile in his voice ... he didn't actually think this call through, oops. ]

[ Can't resist teasing him, it's their old safety-net. ]

Molly chuckles, so stupidly fond and nervous in one, and the joke helps a lot with his uncertainty. ]

[ It's a comfortable, well-known safety-net and it makes things both easier and more real at the same time. ]

[ It's super new but Molly wants it, and not just because it's a new experience. It's less scary and intimidating to know that Fjord doesn't ask exclusivity from him.

Just in the feelings.

He perks up even more when the half-orc mentions something about his favorite vice. ]

Oh? What did you find?

[ He hopes this doesn't come off cheesy; it seemed like a logical thing to pick up when it crossed his mind. ]

Some of the plants on the island didn't want to be picked and smelled suspicious, so I've sorted through the dangerous ones and gathered a few flowers for you to add to your bath. I know you like that sort of thing.

[ Fjord fought the vegetation for Molly. ]

[ It is cheesy, but that's why it works. It's just so Fjord. ]

Really? You got flowers for me?

[ Braving the damn vegetation, hopefully without getting sodomized by vines? For him. ]

No problem! Barely took any time at all.

[ He has whip-scratch marks on his nose from one very aggressive tree that didn't want to give up its blooms. Molly can see those when Fjord returns, since the red stands out against his green skin so brightly. For now? Not gonna mention them! ]

I, ah. I'll be back soon. Was there anything you needed while I'm out? [ Also ... ] Is Caleb in?

[ He's going to kiss those scratches! Silly fool. ]

No, I'm good. Caleb went to either talk to someone who also speak Zemnian, or for some kind of cake with someone else. He's making friends.

[halforc]

That's nice. [ Yay for Caleb, also yay for kisses that can happen. ] I'll be back soon!

[ Within the hour, in fact! Fjord has a few stray leaves in his hair as he enters the house with a call to announce himself, dumping the bag of holding on the couch. He starts pulling out the sunset-coloured flowers, a few crushed but most of them in alright condition. ]

I'm back!

[ Molly's stupidly excited for Fjord to come home, and as soon as he hears the door he's hurrying downstairs.

Seeing the flowers, his face lights up with joy. ]

Oh.

[halforc]

Hi! These are for you ...

[ He brings an armful of the flowers over, the rest spilling off the couch and onto the floor in a fiery river. He can't seem to stop smiling either, liking coming home to a warm reception. ]

I didn't know which you might like the scent of most so I took a bunch of each one I found. Except for this one ...

[ Reaching into the back of his belt, he pulls out a flower with the stem still attached, purple with splatters of red at the tips, and holds it up. ]

I couldn't get close enough to take more than one of these.
