[ Fjord can't make it. It hurts, and he's terribly disappointed, dressed and ready to go at any moment. It would have been the end of it, though, but what fucks him up is that he doesn't get an answer to if Fjord's okay or not, and any messages he sends his boyfriend are either ignored or does not come through.
Unsure of what to do (and stressing himself up wonderfully), he finally decides to go to Fjord's place anyway and see if he's okay. Maybe that was overstepping it, but it was really weird to not hear anything else. (Did he decide he didn't want to see him? Had he been too clingy after all?)
The bus trip takes half-an-hour or so, and he manages to get off at the right place. Walking down a block, he finds the right address and tries to step inside, only to realize it's locked for tenants only. Sighing, Molly sits down on the stairs to wait and see if the half-orc is even going to come home from work.
Once it gets dark and starts raining, he realizes he's an idiot for just sitting here in his nice outfit, with his nicely-wrapped present (bringing flowers would be kind of redundant) and just... hoping. The rain is coming down really hard, though, so now he's rather trapped at the porch.
That is how Fjord finds a purple tiefling at eleven at night, wet and curled up on the apartment stairs. ]
